Today, we had planned on going somewhere else to shoot.
But we saw a gap in the clouds over Devil’s Thumb and changed our plans.
After watching the sun come up over the Continental Divide for the past week, we had a pretty good idea of where the sun would be when it finally showed itself…
It would be right THERE…
…in the gap in the clouds.
So we pulled over and waited.
I’m so glad we changed our plans.
