Moonrise.

I learned something new today.

That the moon can rise in the morning.

You see, I was under the impression that the moon only came out at night.

It’s the whole premise of that book Goodnight Moon. Obviously, the moon would need to be out at NIGHT for you to say, “Goodnight, Moon.”

But today the moon is “out” during the day!.

It rose at 4:28am, and it will set at 5:26pm.

This phenomenon has been happening every month...forever...yet today is the first day that I realized it.

Mind blown.

Maybe I missed the week of school when we studied moonrise times, but for some reason, I am pretty sure that unit was about the entire solar system, not just the phases of the moon.

I bet there is some new-age class I could take about the moon.

I may look into that.
