Day 33: #SunriseProject

You never know how things will turn out.

It was partly cloudy this morning.

Sometimes this can make for uneventful sunrises.

Sometimes this can make for pleasant surprises.

This morning it was the latter.

If we wouldn’t have got out of bed at 4:55am, gone out, set up, and been patient, we never would have known.

In my lifetime, I’ve given up a lot of times before I’ve even started.

I wouldn’t describe myself as a patient person.

I want to know the outcome before putting in any effort.

(I mean, what if I put in the effort...and it’s all for nothing?)

But I don’t think that’s how it works.

It’s the effort that matters…

...and the belief that the outcome will feel better (regardless of what it is) than putting in no effort at all.
