It would have been Closing Day at Winter Park Resort today.
People would have already been awake this morning…
...signing up for Spring Splash...
...or claiming their spot in C-Lot.
Things are different this year.
Everything is quiet.
The mountain is sleeping.
I wanted to photograph the resort today because Closing Day, in some ways, marks the changing of seasons.
The transition from Winter to Mud Season (…which is sort of like your spring but with more snow and less tulips).
2019-2020 Ski Season, you are one that we will never forget.
